I would say the series S would be the better option, although with the series S you won't be able to play in 4k, it only supports 1440p so if you're not bothered about playing in 4k then it's all good, although if you have a 4k TV there will be no worries as the xbox series S will upscale and it will still look fine, but it won't be in 4k. Obviously the framerates won't be as flawless as a series X or ps5 but will be far better than a ps4 pro.

Also with the Series S you will have access to games exclusive to next gen where as with the ps4 you won't.

It's also worth mentioning that the series S only supports digital games, so no discs.

Hope this helps, although I would still do some of your own research and make sure it's the right decision for you.

But will 4K make a difference when the game will probably have reduced graphics? Is 4K and 1440p such a difference?

I think the Framerate is more important and I would like to play on 60fps or at least not capped at 30fps.

New Games aren’t really important for me since I really just want to play Hogwarts legacy. :D

The series s is capable of 60 fps, like I said you will have to do some research and decide for yourself.

If you have some spare money there is always the option of finding out which console you can sell for more, and adding some cash on top to get a series X and experience hogwarts legacy at it's fullest potential.
