Yeah I get what you mean. The video I saw actually replaced the internal drive and put the OS on it. Their point was that the one x had games improved specifically for it, So it ran better on most games, had the higher resolution and was now just as quick. where as the series s is in a weird middle ground where some of the games perform like trash because they made them with series x in mind and unless you’re playing games like Warzone with a very heavy cpu load they said it the cpu didn’t really make a difference.

I see your point, but i feel like the Video might have been a bit biased, because CPU does often matter a lot. There are of course instances where series s runs at below 1080p but it usually runs at 60 fps or at least stable 30. An example of CPU differences is Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order. It has a 1080p Performance mode on series s and on one x and on series s it's locked 60, while it is 35-50 on one x.
