I bought a PS5 as I'm a PS fanboy. I'm pretty bored with it until RE4 remake comes out.

Id probably go Xbox with gamepass if you wanted a suggestion.

Want the biggest library possible for the least amount of money? Xbox with game pass. Like online multiplayer? Xbox. Want to play on the go or don’t care about FPS or graphics? Switch. Can’t miss out on like the 5 exclusives everyone thinks is a can’t miss that’s on PS? PS5

If you plan on replaying what you already have in your PS4 library or if you have a backlog, go with the PS5.

If not, buy yourself a backlog with Gamepass and get a Series X or Series S, depending if 4K is important to you.

Just read an article that Dolphin and RetroArch apps can be loaded via developer options enabled on Xbox - X . That's a win for me

I've tried the xbox gamepass eco-system, but in the end, I prefer ps5 because I've been with that brand since the ps1 and I prefer to own my games I'm interested in. Also their exclusive is top quality. And I prefer the controller way more.

If you are interested in playing Final Fantasy VII Rebirth (and let's be honest who isn't) I'd buy a PS5 if I were you.

Ps5 all day proper next gen feel about it Series x seems a bit of the past trying to get next gen

I bought the switch and I'm so disappointed in it.

I've had mine since launch and in my opinion it's an absolute masterpiece. I've had so much fun with mine and it's seen a lot more use than my PS4 Pro. But everyone has different preferences for their own reasons, which is why it's no good asking someone to decide for you.

EDIT: I realised I'm curious why you're disappointed. What did you expect from it that it doesn't provide?

To be fair I do like Mario and DK games but my favorite games are like Forza and Hockey and there is no racing or hockey games if found that tickle that. I mostly bought it for the kids

Ps5, you most likely already have a nice library of games from your ps4, and honestly I had both the series x and the ps5 since released, was luck enough to get both day 1. And I just sold my series x cause I hardly ever used it. And one the ps+ extra came along, I pretty much never turned my xbox on again.

If you like Forza then Xbox is the obvious answer. I like Forza too, Motorsport not so much Horizon, but it's about the only game on Xbox that interests me.

Also, if you own a Switch and you're even vaguely interested then you should definitely play Zelda. Seems a shame not to ☺️

I strongly agree with the steamdeck suggestion. I love the Nintendo switch, but it is not that easy to recommend due to Nintendo games being sorta specific

Dude, I am positive many people agree with you but I'm just not feeling it for Sony so far this generation. I'm not some Xbox fanboy but my series x is getting all my time.
