I've been wanting to get back into gaming recently. I have the Xbox One S, which I haven't touched in months but I have a lot of free time on my hands nowadays. I'm considering upgrading to the Xbox Series S/X or the PS5. Wanted to hear your opinions on which you prefer. I've never owned a PS so I would love to hear about how you like it compared to Xbox. Thank you gamers.

Op, One thing to be aware of with the series S is it has no disc drive (which may or may not matter to you but is good to be aware).

Awesome, thank you for your response! I'll have to look into the Series S a little bit more then.

Xbox series s is like a budget console that does very well. I own one it's great but it has no disc drive on it but the best thing you should do if you do get game pass ultimate it's a subscription that let's you have access to 100+ games and has live gold with it too

You know what Xbox can offer to you with One S. You have to ask yourself if you prefer an upgrade to the next gen or go to a different route and grab a PS5 for playing its exclusives.
It's up to you based on the games you like the most. Check the exclusives they have and compare with what games you appeal the most.

Or the xbox eco system to play theirs as well... Kinda find the ps is the home of some of the best 3rd person titles.. But with the Bethesda acquisition xbox is now the home of some of the best 1st person games

The Xbox Series S/X and PS5 are both great consoles that offer a lot of power and features. It really comes down to personal preference and what you're looking for in a console. The Xbox Series S/X is more similar to the Xbox One in terms of interface and overall design, so if you're already familiar with that, it might be a good choice. The PS5 has a different interface and design, but it's still very user-friendly.

I would pefer a ps5 because it has alot of games that xboxS/X does not have. And the controllers has helpful futures for the ps5. And it has pretty good 4k graphics.

I would recommend the xbox Series S yes it may not have the graphics like the series X and ps5 but I still runs all the new Gen games pretty well. And it's more affordable to buy than the series x and ps5 so I say it's a win for the series S in my books especially if pricing is an issue.
