I love this

Once upon a time, when I was a child, I had a dream one night.

A little butterfly with a little girl's face came in to my sight.

"I want for you the best, and I want you to be happy." The little fairy said.

"So I'll share my magic for you when you are sad." I listened in my bed.

Then tomorrow came, and all the dreams fade, as if they were never there.

Only school and home ,and work and chores; my life I had to bear.

But since that dream, I came to find, my sadness seldom last.

I'd cry and sob, but they would fade, and happiness returned fast.

I went from school to collage to work, each day passing on.

And at some point the joy had ended, and I began to frown.

It's crushing, tiring, worrying, frightening, at end of every day.

It hopeless, meaningless, useless, worthless, and I saw no other way.

Old friends came then chat then left, I was left alone.

New friends never arrive with time, as I was always told.

I got no drive, no energy to work, and wasting all my time.

When I should rest, I stay up instead, writing stupid rhymes.

But finally sleep, it did actually came, exhaustion is a bitch.

It knocks me out then makes me feel like I was dumped in a ditch.

Once again I dreamt, in my bed one night, as if I was a child.

I looked and saw a harrowing bug, with the bitterest of sweet smile.

"I tried my best and gave my all." It spoke in growling sound.

"But sorry, I'm drained." It said while it struggled to fly around.

"Will you be happy again just once more, please?"
