Just out of curiosity, how does everyone pronounce "Wendigo"?

Edit: gracias for the responses. I've always believed it was "when dig oh" or "wendy go," similar to how you'd say "indigo," but everyone on one of my fave shows pronounces it "when DEEEE go." It drives me nuts.
