I always think it would be funny if you put a well made horror creature design into normal day life. Like a little kid gets ho e from kindergarten all sad and this thing runs up to great him like a dog. Or a woman opens a can of eldritch black goo, and dumps it into a bowl for a patiently waiting creature. Or an elderly man throwing out side at a park to a flock of these.
