Why do ppl do the “I know I suck” posts or “I know I look horrible” posts? If you actually think you’re unskilled you do not post shit online to be scrutinized by a bunch of strangers ..So quit phishing for compliments

Some people need encouragement. I was gifted this sketchbook and am excited to share with the artists I look up to, even though objectively my art is novice at best. People are complex creatures, don’t assume so much.
