It does! I haven't played in ages, but those were spooked me the most. Plus they steal your blocks. Now I'm imagining an Ender Dryad that holds still and looks like a tree till you look on the right side of it, and it comes after you...

Not gonna lie, this was pretty disconcerting. I think it’s because the eyes lend to a bit of, innocence(?) but, in a very unnerving way. It invokes a double take sensation. Like, “am I actually…Am I seeing what I think…”? Almost waiting with baited breathe for it to blink in conformation. Great stuff, OP

Reminds me of the time I used to hang out at this park across the street near a friend's house. We get stoned and hang out in the fields. One time when Salvia wasn't yet outlawed I tried some and spaced out looking at the trees, that was one bad trip.
