This reminds me of the story about the author who wrote Fight Club. Chuck Phalahniuk wrote a book with a bunch of short stories about his life experiences along with his family. The front cover has a similar picture like this, because it talks about how his grandfather murdered his grandmother by shooting her. He then looked for his dad while he hid under his bed, and all he could see what his grandfather’s shoes and the end of the smoking barrel. His father was unsure if he gave up looking for him, or he just decided not to kill him, but then he turned the barrel on himself. So his father was the one in the house with two dead parents. My memory is a little fuzzy on this cause it’s been along time since I’ve read about it.

Imo the face ruins it. Should have cut a couple seconds in to the dangling hair. I thought it was just a couple-second looping gif but the hair coming down actually spooked me. Even cutting after the one eye is visible would have been nice, but the full face just isn't that scary

Reminds me, not the delay part just the whole thing, of that scene from "Smile" where the girl walks up to the car and just stands there for a second with her head and neck out of view, and then suddenly her head just swings downward upside down in an utterly unnatural fashion with that smile on her face.
