If it’s a game with two rival clubs and the fans are known for starting trouble, it could take an hour to get out of the stadium after the game because they don’t let the diehard fans (scum) leave until the other diehard fans (also scum), are on the buses back to wherever it is they are from. This is to stop fights and other hooliganisms.
