I am a member of both, having recently joined Costco. I have been there twice, and so far, it seems about the same as Sam’s to me.

We had memberships at both for a year.

After about six months of that, we found we never went to Sam's.

I have found this a great way to trigger Costco fans. "BUT THE CAFE!" Yes, Sam's has one too.
