Better, but I think flags + country name would be best. I'm a bit sketchy on my South American flags so I couldn't actually work out who played who.

But love the circle format too, never thought to use this for a knockout comp.

Well I don't think any education system has you learning all 200+ flags of the world. And it's not like there's a real need to focus on the 32 World Cup teams.

If we're including the group stage countries, Ghana, Senegal and Cameroon have very similar flags and none are very relevant in world affairs.

Serbia and Croatia are close too.

At one point I’d’ve been able to name them if the silhouette of the country was on there.

Freaking AP Human Geography final and “correctly label every country on an unlabeled map (it had the borders at least).

I think the version with the logos looks better than the version with the flags. Both cool though. Honestly the colors alone are a great indication of who is who. Anyway, special shout-out for getting the Swiss flag right in the alternative version (yes it is square)!
