Welcome to your ELI5 guide, on your right, you can see the basic rule of this subreddit, and if you look closely, you might see that the number 1 rule is "be nice", and number 8 as "don't guess"

While the poster likely violated rule 7, that is for the mods to judge and not us.

I wouldn’t say I guessed, I looked up on google and gave a source, both things I referenced talked about acid, either from the apple or reflux. And it’s not like my comment was rude, blunt maybe, but not rude

Okay let me clarify a few things, I had looked at the rules before posting this and I did see and read rule 7. I then went to the search bar and searched for a post similar to this that would answer my question and didn't find any so I made this post. If I had seen a post that would've answered my question, I wouldn't of made this post. I might delete this post in the morning idk, I'll decide then. Sorry for violating rule 7, let's just all be nice to each other please.
