Nice! What was on it? Tough to tell from the picture. All I can really see is some seitan.

I believe it has "sausage party" vegan ham, vegan cheddar, mustard and pickles. It's from Aunty Em's in the west end of Toronto.

I've heard great stuff about Aunty Em's. I used to live in Toronto. That sounds really good.

Comments seem to be fucking funded by Hellman’s. If the restaurant calls it a vegan Cuban, then that’s what it is. Chill the fuck out and stop judging!

Seems this post is divisive but it's all good. As a non-vegan, I still think it's good that vegan food continues to improve and be more enjoyable for people. Having more choice is a good thing.

Call this whatever you like, it's a good sandwich. I'm not trying to claim this is a traditional Cubano sandwich.

Easy, create your own dishes and food as you please with vegan ingredients but please stop making references to food that are non vegan, Cubano or vegan cheese burger because they are not. Maybe non vegans might try some but when you mention a Cubano peoples brain goes to pork, ham, cheese.

To be fair, knowing that the restaurant is vegan, my brain doesn't go to meat products. At the end of the day, I didn't name it and I don't want to gatekeep vegans.

It's a vegan representation of one. I'm not vegan but I still really enjoy this.
