When I was three the house next door burned down and one of my neighbors kids died, so I take fire safety seriously. Some times they beep when the battery is really low. Have you pressed the button and make sure the battery still has juice?

i was making a joke about the battery being low. everything is working fine here. just got carbon monoxide detectors a couple of weeks ago also.
