I went to the one in Vegas and had no clue this was an option

I always stay in cosmo (go 3-5 times a year). I absolutely refuse to wait in that line. I’ve woken up at damn 6am (almost impossible in Vegas) and there’s already a freakin 20 person deep line!

It’s a good egg sandwich but not worth the wait, imo. I got the Fairfax (soft scrambled eggs, caramelized onions, chives, cheddar, siracha, brioche bun). It tastes exactly how you’d imagine based on the ingredients, but can’t justify waiting 30+ minutes for what should be a grab-and-go sandwich. It also ran me close to $20 for a sandwich and orange juice, which is steep even by Vegas standards

Thanks for the brutal but honest take.

It’s a trendy LA food truck turned Vegas Cosmopolitan restaurant. It isn’t going to be a better sandwich than it needs to be.

Scrambled? Naw.

Great taste, zero practicality. As soon as you bite, that egg is squeezing out of the sides.

Yeah I would make like a little folded omelette like patty out of scrambled eggs to put on there. Then it all stays together and you get the nice egg.

Most of their sandwiches are with fried eggs -- the one in OP's post is the only one with scrambled. But it is by far my favorite option on the menu. Those are some perfectly cooked, buttery scrambled eggs. Their fried eggs are great too.

this opened overseas yet didn't expand to the rest of the US besides Vegas ... wtf

Based on locations they like to overcharge and sell at a premium.

Edit: nothings wrong with that, it allows for premium ingredients and care. But you do need a certain amount of clientele with money that not all towns/cities can support.

Glorious.

But I think I'd still take a sausage patty over beef at breakfast

You mean you don't like having to sublux your jaw to eat a burger? 😋

Agreed. I feel like I’d need a shower after eating this because I’d be so greasy from failing to get my mouth properly around it

Oooh.

There's a place near where I live famous to locals for their burgers and chili.

They do a very simple cheeseburger with a fried egg over easy on top. Shits delicious ;__;

Getting that and a bowl of chili with cheese is a nice treat. Just gotta make it before the lunch or dinner rush. Idk what it's like now because haven't been since pre-panini but it'd be a line out the door around the corner x.x

Instantly recognized from the thumbnail this is eggslut. That hour long line with a hangover/still drunk at the Cosmo is always an adventure.
