For corn tortillas, I find it holds better after pan frying it lightly with oil. If used directly from bag, they break apart very easily, especially if there is even a little juice on the fillings

What happened to my corn tortillas? I did microwave - steam them before rolling.

Sometimes, recipes call for brushing them with cooking oil before heating in microwave.

I heat mine on a comal before I fill them. A cast iron would probably work well too. I don't use oil either, just heat them straight from the bag

Flautas are make w corn tortillas and fried in oil. One of my most favorite things to make. I make everything from scratch except the tortillas. Its a long process but totally worth it. Typically served w guacamole, queso, sour cream and fresh lettuce. I will make a big batch tomorrow and post it.

Flautas are rolled in corn tortillas and fried to a crisp

Tacos are your basic heat a flour or corn tortilla, with any filling and fold (i like to roll them right before i eat it though)

Crispy tacos are folded and fried corn tortilla then prepare

There's enchiladas which are rolled corn tortillas stuffed usually with cheese (sometimes beef or chicken) and covered in sauce for the American versions. Mexican Enchiladas Callejeras(street style) take the tortillas and dip into a chile rójo sauce and stuffed and toooed with queso fresco

There are Migas, tortilla chips cooked with any combination of cheese, chicken, and egg... And topped with a red or a green salsa. You have to pick one, you cant switch up when you get older,. It's like your starter Pokemon, you might be able to choose a different one, but you have to start all over again

You are going to love this - taquitos are generally made with a fajita size corn tortilla and flautas are generally made with large burrito size flour tortilla.

Oh Yum! I cannot get good Mexican food here in the UK. I need to make my own. This looks doable for me. I usually just make tacos.
