Here's the super special saucy secret... I overcooked it a bit on accident lol I sautéed the Basmati rice in a little butter and cooked it in chicken stock, but I overcooked it and it got a little clumpy! There! I said it! 😭

Usually when I get rice that looks like this, it's more about the water ratio. Sometime when I switch brands with the same type of rice, it has different levels of water it takes. I almost always use a rice cooker so it kinda serves as a control. When it gets clumpy like this, I just adjust to less water!

Here is the key to perfect basmati rice every time. Wash your rice until it becomes clear (never ever skip this step), soak for about 30 Mins ( not that necessary), then pressure cook the rice/water for 11 mins to the following ratio, 1 cup rice to 1.25 water, 1.5 cups water for a little sicker rice.
