I wasn't sure about the recipe, but it was indeed crunchy!

This is how my mom made hers years ago. I still use the same recipe. Dont be afraid to grind up the cereal with a rolling pin if you feel the bits are too big or dont stick well enough. Try a thin ribbon of honey on the meat before breading too if you want. Its nommers.

Saving this for future reference

Just remember not to use too much or the breading will fall off. A single thin ribbon is all you need.

Ramen chicken is good, too. Grind up the noodles and coat the bird. Season it with the ramen seasoning. Yummy.

Kellog is just rolling in his grave with all the impure thoughts, flavour and crunch from that chicken.

I have a recipe like this. Did you marinate it in buttermilk?

Nope, i cut a chicken breast in pieces, lightly dust them with flour and paprika, then eggs and cornflakes crumbs.

I suggest a good marinade, makes it nice and tender underneath the flakes

I'm a big believer in brines over marinades for chicken, but would highly recommend either if you've got the time.

Edit: Google says brine for juiciness, marinade for flavor, and I'd tend to agree.

I've always been on the side of the raisins, but this chicken might just turn me into a Cornflake Girl. Looks great!
