It's so funny when people make a big deal about benign foodstuffs. It's a tomato based soup with meat and noodles. Who has time to be bothered about these things?

You CANNOT convince me this wasn’t invented because some schmuck fucked up his lasagna and made it too liquid. “Uuuuh! Put it in a bowl, YES! It’s lasagna soup! Tadaaa!”

Interesting, like lasange with liquid? Or like a pasta made with lasagna sheets ?

What are lasagna noodles? Just normal noodles? Or you took a lasagna sheet and cut it?

You boil lasagna sheets and they become lasagna noodles. Just like rigatoni, linguine, and spaghetti.

Same lasagna noodles to make lasagna.

What was the point of this? You literally answered your own question. You know what a lasagna sheet is but not different width lasagna noodles available on the mass market?

Lasagnas (plural), is the pasta. As long as you use that shape, you can call it that, whether baked or soup.

🤣🤣🤣 does your theory apply to spaghettis, linguinis and pappardelles too 😅

Ofcourse. Many pasta dishes are named by: "Pasta shape and type" + "prep method or sauce used". Linguini in brodo is linguini in broth etc.

Ofcourse, most combinations will not have a traditional example. And most will just be bad. Puting a pasta that requires cutting in a soup means either alot of work to eat it, or having to bite it, making it messy and weird.

This looks good! Are the lasagna "noodles" hard to get on the fork?
