It's blood sausage. I've not had legit English black pudding, but I used to live in Korea and they have blood sausage there that is super popular and I loved it.

Very meaty, iron forward, savory...it's very much its own thing. If that makes sense.

Hmm sorta. There’s an Irish pub/restaurant near me that boasts a traditional Irish breakfast so I just might go try it in the coming weeks to have a taste for myself.
