Are you saying the people making food at bodegas and food trucks aren’t pro chefs? They literally cook for a living…..

Most food truck cooks I know report their business as a clothing retailor to keep their amateur status for the Olympics.

Cooking for a living does not make one a chef my dude.

It actually doesn’t though. You need to be certified and trained as a chef to have that designation.

Next you’ll say the line cook at Denny’s is a chef.

Spoiler alert: he’s not.

My corner bodega chefs ARE pro-chefs based on the magic cook up (shout out Andres and Carlos)

The food looks good, so, I’m assuming that means the truck is run down?

How many sandwiches would need to be bought so you can get a fresh coat of paint and a mechanic?

Agree, but now a days hipsters turning everything "fancy". For example birria tacos.

Have you ever had a birria taco and been upset that hipsters mainstreamed it though?
