I just made this exact recipe a few days ago. Maybe it was the cocoa powder I used but it tasted odd.

I think it needs either sweetened coco powder in the filling or some more sugar. For my husband the coco power gave off too much of a bitter taste. Even omitting that and doing just cinnamon and sugar would be yummy.
