Not OP, but my fear of ruining food outweighs my desire to learn. The possibility of making something inedible isnโ€™t worth the chance of making something mediocre. Luckily I am privileged to have a wonderful wife who enjoys making delicious food.

Try a no knead recipe if you have a Dutch oven. It's low risk and high reward.

Or even a high hydration focaccia.
