Wagyu is a (number of) breeds, not a grade. A1/A2 wagyu with minimal marbling is still a thing. Not that the Japanese system applies to any meat bred outside of Japan anyway.

If you get wagyu, but its just the normal ungraded version. It might aswel not be wagyu?
