It’s eaten all parts of India not just some parts. It’s a dessert famous in Not just india but also India subcontinents including other coutures, also probably in Africa (I’m not sure google is right or not) Yes it’s origin not india & I’ve never seen or taste Persian version but This specific photo is Indian Jalebi
