For a second, this looked what I imagined a microwaved frog to look like

Hot, pepper, bacon, and jam were four words I never imagined being strung together to describe one food until today.

What is that hot pepper bacon jam exactly? Made it yourself?

I think I'd probably die trying to eat it in one bite...

I'm getting the flavour profile but why turkey? Smoke, umami++ heat, sweet, salt. The texture profile needs crisp though. Have you got some skin you're hiding away there?

Well that answered my question. Turkey is nice in the right hands but bland as fuck when handled by less experienced people (my mum). I just find moist but textured turkey a very tough cook. Are you pan frying then butter, herbs, garlic then resting and using the pan to create a jus?

πŸ˜… I make a pretty good Turkey but this is actually just Boars Head smoked pit craft turkey sliced from the deli. It’s really good though! I did heat it up in the pan and top it with the cheese. I’m disabled and typically try to stick to things I can cook quickly on bad health days (today).
