I always thought that it was rare to puke and shit at the same time, like both events had to coincidentally line up like the stars.

Then I caught norovirus. The diarrhea was so bad, that the slightest pressure caused me to shit. Puking causes pressure.

I had a friend once who caught a bug that made him do this. He said the best thing he could do was lay naked in the tub with the shower on... Shitting and puking.

That's been my experience with it before, too. But food poisoning doesn't really make sense, and my other daughter was also sick a couple of days before, and I've heard there's something going around. So I'm at a loss for what else it might have been.
