Fine, I will reuse this bag to suffocate myself. Ever thought of that CVS? (More of a Walgreens guy)

Now take your 9-foot long receipt and get out.

You still have plastic bags?

I will reuse this bag to pick up lots of dog shit.

Gotta save money to print receipts!

This! LOL
This is what I was going to say! Seriously, I buy one item and the receipt is about two to three feet long, and that's not an exaggeration. Then they have the nerve to tell people to reuse bags? SMH.

So we have to bring the bags and check ourselves out now?

I was looking for a face print. It was the first thing I thought of when it said reuse this bag.

Plastic is destroying the oceans. You, yeah you over there, have plastic in your body because it is everywhere in our environment. Getting less plastic is a good thing. Don't mock CVS for this message. Mock them for long receipts of pointless advertisements and things that make the planet worse. This makes the planet better. Embrace it. Bring your own bag.

CVS has been doing email receipts for years, and the only time a receipt prints is if requested. The length of the receipt is due to coupons and extra bucks, so it only prints that long if someone uses their CVS card and chooses to have a receipt printed instead of emailed. They actually have pretty typical receipts for non-card customers.

That's just to encourage the use of reusable bags instead of one time use plastic bags.

I moved from California in an area where plastic bags are banned for most uses to Nevada a couple years ago. People seem surprised whenever we bring our reusable bags, even "healthy" stores like TJ's and Sprouts. And when we forget them, it seems like the cashiers are trying to prop up their stocks in bag manufacturers. They'll put 2-3 items in each bag and it gives me heart palpitations.
