The irony of “I’m not hungry” being the most expensive

Mac and fruit cup MORE than chicken tenders and fries

In what world?

In your world, fruit is less expensive than unhealthy fat salt shit? Where

beatmaster808 t1_ja4lrz9 wrote

Mac has no meat protein

And most fruit is relatively cheap, especially fruit cups

And doesn't require cooking

Fruit is cheaper than chips, especially by weight

gdraper99 t1_ja3f0aq wrote

I saw a menu like this once… the item that was the most expensive was “just water”. 🤣

For teenagers too.

This shit was mildly amusing the first time I saw it. Now it's cringe as hell. Gives me "hello fellow kids" type vibes.

I think the original was seen by another restaurant owner/employee, thought it was hilarious, used it, then some person saw it for the 1st, (re) posts it, another owner/employee sees it, etc... It just won't go away..

See these names pop up every now and then. Isn’t it more annoying for everyone involved to remember the translation of these names into what the product is?

The only thing about this that pisses me off is that the fruit cup is the most expensive thing on the list, because it certainly isn’t the Max and cheese driving that price.

I think I know the place and the food there is actually quite nice

It's not just the name of the kid's meals apparently. I mean, "Mexican" is apparently just salsa, cheese, ground taco beef, guac, sour cream, and cilantro.

We (Wife and me) recently went to a "posh burger bar" After 4 pages of burger which all sounded nice we finally found the "Whatever" burger - with no details given.

We both ordered it since we were kinda overwhelmed. I got a nice one with nachos, cheese, bacon and whatever and my wife got one with roccula and more on the salad side. Will order them again next time.

Kids aren’t born with eating disorders. That shit is learned.

You have a brain disorder if the choices other parents make for their kids are a problem for you.

I know they define you, but your values are meaningless and nonsensical to anyone else. Literally nobody is interested in them.

We're literally omnivores and can eat anything. We don't need to eat meat to survive if we don't want to. Why is it a problem for you, personally, how is that affecting your life, if some parents decide to not let their kids eat meat or dairy?

How can you tell someone’s a vegan?

0

icelandichorsey t1_ja28ukd wrote

You can't. Also one doesn't have to be a vegan to want vegan options sometimes.

The animosity that's generated by asking for some choices that vegan are just mindblowing. I'm not fucking making anyone eat anything, I'm just asking for choice and with all the freedomloving bullshit that is being thrown around, I don't understand how shitting on someone else's food choices is OK

1

UnmutualOne t1_ja4a8pv wrote

Not everything is about you and your veganism. Just laugh at the joke, for God’s sake.
