If that's your bird, find it a new home immediately. You obviously are not taking proper care. If you don't already have a nightmare on your hands, consider yourself lucky

Are you kidding me? Lucky has tons of toys appropriate for birds that stimulate his mind and keep him entertained for hours. Just because you don’t see them from that small portion of his large cage doesn’t mean they’re not there and just because he has a doll doesn’t mean he lacks bird toys. He also has with wooden perches, fresh chop (if you’re in any way experienced with parrots, you should know what that is), and healthy pellets for him to eat. He gets annual avian vet visits to ensure he’s healthy. He spends 24/7 outside of his cage and only goes in if and when he feels like it. He’s a member of our family. I’m well educated on owning an African Grey parrot and I did a year of research before even considering to get one. And yes, I know that they have the intelligence of a 3-4 human child and having an African Grey is a huge lifetime commitment. My Lucky is well taken care of and has a healthy and happy life. Don’t make assumptions where it’s not your place and don’t shame someone on owning and caring for animal when you don’t know jack shit about the care they provide for them based on one photo. You are a disgusting excuse for a human being and being around you sounds like a nightmare.
