There are several bald guys at my local bar. Like actually bald, not shaved-head neo-nazis. It ain't that kinda bar.

As a bald guy whenever I see another bald guy in public I point him out to my wife and say look at that guy over there, you know he's a good guy.

She got sick of the joke a long time ago but it'll get funny again in the future.

Exactly! A shaved head is much more attractive than one with some wispy and scraggly hair coming off it. (Or is in my case, anyways.)

Plus, I have to say, I've come to love the feel of having a freshly shaved head, not to mention the convenience. If I knew, I would have done it years ago.

Started shaving my head several months ago, and since then I've started saying shit like this too.

I'm glad that it's something natural and not just me, maybe that will make my friends and girlfriend roll their eyes less often at my remarks.

There's nothing but love within the bald community, we'd never murder one another with sci-fi weaponry.

One bald guy would make the "we must go to the same barber" joke and the other would fake a laugh. Not kill each other.

I was a SHARP skinhead in middle school & high school (it was the 1980s, things were different then) who ultimately outgrew the scene and grew my hair out.

Only to then start to lose it fast enough to need to start shaving it, and now I'm back where I was a few decades ago: shaving my head every day.

I went the opposite direction, I was a long haired hippy kid back in my school days, kept the long hair for decades until it started coming out on its own.

Honestly though, I love the feel of having a shaved head now, and the ease and simplicity of having no hair is full of convenience. I'm amazed that headshaving isn't more common than it is.

My hippy years were in between my skinhead and bald adult years, so while brief I've experienced the highs & lows of hair.

(I still see Phish shows more often than I should admit.)

And agreed on the ease & simplicity - I'd never want to deal with having long hair again.

When you say shaved head I think you're thinking of a very short buzz cut. Not bald. When I think of bald it's with a razor and a shiny head afterwards. That kind of bald. The shiny head is not to be confused with the skin head.
