I made the mistake of showing my husband the Balenciaga super distressed jeans that are ripped to shreds in the back and look like they’re covered in grass stains as well. He got a particular kick out of the “pantashoes” and “pantaleggings” and there are a couple of belts that I swear weigh more than the models wearing them. It’s absurdity.

Just ignore fashion brands. Fashion is what people chose to wear, not what some fashion designer in some ivory tower is masturbating his or her ego into this week.

The clothes they make look fucking weird, the models they choose to show off those clothes look fucking weird, and the ads they make with those models look fucking weird.

Fashion designers, and fashion brands, are parasites that try to take credit/money for a phenomenon that in reality only comes from what everyday people choose to wear, and not from them.
