One year my gf and I were going for Halloween. A guy she was friends with who thought she should be his gf not mine decided that he would be a knight to match her princess costume at the party. I was like f/u bud and went as Mario and all night long that jack ass had to listen to calls of "look its Mario and his princess" while he sulked in the corner wearing his stupid knight costume.
