Considering the BS scales businesses grade their people on where 10 is the only good value and 1-9 awful, this seems spot on.

A division of my company once issued surveys on a program that had no bad option. It was like you could say you liked it or REALLY LOVED IT. Obviously this pissed off customers and put data analytics in a weird spot where they had to tell the division why we couldn't use their idiot survey data to tell how successful the program was.

Trust me, any rating below Excellent is considered not good enough, and "Good" or "Fair" probably mean an unpleasant meeting with the boss.

Plus, if you really hated it, you told someone in person.
