My wife loves to sleep in. Tomorrow she has to get everything ready for a New Year's party. She doesn't want to deal with the crowds.

She said, "tomorrow, I'm getting up at the crack of dawn to go to the grocery store."

I laughed, "you're getting up early!?!"

She replied, "yes as long as I get out by eight or eight-thirty I'll be okay."

I said, "sure."

Then she says, "as long as I'm out of the house by nine it's all good."

I laughed at her, "you just went from the crack of dawn to nine in about 10 seconds."

To which she said, "if I'm there before lunch, we're good.

Me... laughing.

She concluded, "as long as I get there before everyone is off of work I'll be fine."

I tell myself every night, before work, "I am going in right away tomorrow" ... then I remember that my phone alarm has a snooze button 😅
