Doubt it would work well with many, I would need to know what specifically is in the brown sauce.

Funny story I went to a Chinese restaurant once and ordered lemon chicken and they came out with big fried chicken legs and a bowl of lemon sauce on the side

I make brown sauce all the time. Its a little different each time but is usually some combination of soy sauce, brown sugar, hoisin, garlic, chilies, rice wine vinegar, fish sauce, sesame oil etc.

It taste good on every protien, veggie, rice, noodle etc. you can think of.
