The internet is a wild place where people think they know what the shot is but really haven’t the slightest clue. It’s two power banks. The blue was actually charging the black. It had never crossed my feeble, non-genius mind to charge one power bank with another. Anyways, I hope you accidentally drink sour milk.

Maybe OP thinks the one on the left is a power bank? Looks to be a wireless speaker though hooked to a power bank on the right. Seems like dad just wants music all day without needing to plug in.

The cable going into the power bank is going into an input port (ie used to charge the power bank) not used to allow the power bank to charge something else.

Nothing happens. Cable is connected to power banks charging port and speakers usb2 memory stick port.

Maybe the speaker can't connect/playback while it's charging? (I had some Bluetooth headphones like that.)

If so, it might be a better use of the charger to charge something away from home and/or that can be used while charging. But the photo doesn't make that clear.
