It’s a joke that if you fart, you can say “Hey, do you smell popcorn?”, and everyone around you will sniff the air and smell… not popcorn. But, maybe that’s just my family.

Source-I work in the sign business, and this is bad image editing.

The LEDs which illuminate the faces of channel letters do not fail like that, also if the letters were illuminated with Neon tubes (which could be possible) the tube would not fail the way this picture represents.

The led modules which illuminate the faces of these letters do not fail like this.
