Can a drone be called a glider if it has a rotor, or is that just poor fact checking?

You can have assisted gliders, since the rotor is just to gain altitude/intermittent use but gliding is still the primary means of movement.

Wendover did a great video a while back about their operations in Africa. I'm generally sceptical about drone deliveries, but this is one of the use cases that makes sense.

I toured Zipline about a year ago. They are a true startup. They build a wind tunnel in an old shipping container. The most interesting thing they did was keep very precise data on every part they made, each with a serial number and all compiled on the cloud. This made diagnosing failures and refining designs much easier. They are very passionate and truly want to help people.

Fast forward 25 years. Zip line drones now deliver your slotted daily happiness medication to be taken at the prescribed hour while watching the mandatory augment reality program provided by Amazon, the current corporation CEO governing your work class living quadrant.
