I read the article and I still don’t fully comprehend what this is about. Are they just releasing an old keyboard style that you type on? Why is it called a switch? Why would anyone be an ‘enthusiast’ about this?

It is the literal electrical switch that the key triggers. They are releasing one with the same tactile feeling as an old discontinued switch.

Thanks for the explanation! After I went directly to the sellers website I had a better time visualizing it after seeing a complete picture with it blown apart. Was this switch sold in conjunction with a particular brand/model of computer at the time?
