Xbox and PS exclusives

My sister and I shared a xbox one, and It got stolen a few months back. We saved up enough to get a Xbox X or a PS 5. The problem is that my sister wants a PS to play Genshin impact and I want a Xbox X because i'm scared that Elder scrolls 6 is going to be Xbox exclusive.

I told my sister that genshin coming to nintendo and sge can play on there but the trailer for it is 2 years old and she is worried it might never come to the switch.

The elder scrolls series have been such a important aspect in my life. I understand that it is also my sisters choice and she only plays two games genshin and overwatch so it greatly matters which console.

This is not about which console we like the most but what we can play on it. Does the Xbox or PS have better exclusives.

Since Money is a issue and you probably always want to play the latest and greatest I would suggest getting a xbox with gamepass.

If you actually want to play PS exclusives (like god of war or the last of us) I'd suggest getting a PC. You can get decent PCs for 800 bucks nowadays and have much more variety on games to play.

By the time TES6 is out you'll be able to afford 7 of each console. It'll be a while yet.

Personally, I'd go for the play station. Might be my bias as a PC/Xbox user but I've always thought they had better exclusives.

Elder Scrolls 6 is still far far away so I would just get the PS5 since thats about current situation. and about what has better exclusives that s all personal preferences

Careful, the Sony ponies might get you lol no seriously though. I own them both, I touch the PS maybe three times a year for the exclusives while I'm on my XSX all the time. Just truly depends if you want to play single player exclusives or you want Multiplayer focused games. PS for single players and Xbox for MP games.

Xbox has a list of reasons why it's better then playstation. Exclusives exmusives, I can play basically every PS game on PC, phone or switch.

Xbox has Gamepass, crossplay (which Sony fights at every turn), faster updates, better mods for the games that allow it, less censorship, and tends to get PC games/updates well before Playstation. There are quite a few games/updates that are on PC/Xbox that still haven't hit playstation.

Genshin is a really dumb reason to pick a console imo, especially when it's a shitty gatcha game she can play on her phone.
