Ps is going to make a slim and pro version as I am reading rumours every time but according to rumors they wont come out until around end of the year around December/ October

I'd anyone actually asking for that? What percentage of people would be willing to drop another huge chunk of money to upgrade their console they just got in the last 2 years? What would they even charge for it if the base console is still $550? Seems incredibly unlikely.

A few people no doubt. But only because they think they will get 4k 60 with RT. Which won't actually happen.

I really don't think this Gen needs a pro version because it is lacking the super weak CPU of last generation. Given how far behind AMD is with RT and upscaling compared to Nvidia I would rather they just wait till the end of the console generation to benefit from 8 or so years of hardware and software improvements from AMD.

So if Sony can't get the cost of the base ps5 down, can't get much more performance in a pro model anyway, and we're only 2 years out from the base console's launch, why would anyone take this rumor seriously?
