Or use the Arcana that brings everything to you every two minutes, Infinite Corridor and Crimson Shroud make Red Death a breeze.

That does work but I think you need to beat death on the first level to get that one

You only need to beat Red Death to unlock him (it?) as playable. For all the 'Reach 31mins on xxxx' unlocks you can do it by using Endless Mode and quitting out after 31mins.
