They will release a pile of garbage and then improve it over time. That’s how it’s done these days.

what exactly gameplay wise do you think isn’t ready. I played both betas and the servers were significantly better for me during the second week so I’m confident the servers won’t be any worse than any day one launch.

The only thing I can think of that they need to address is druid balance

It won’t be ready until after enough people have played it and complained

I had a great experience, especially as a single player game. So what are you exactly talking about?

  • Animation cancelling causing game-breaking attack speed
  • Sorceress class can teleport anywhere on the map even when the aspect ratio of the screen is changed (no teleport boundaries, and players have figured out how to kite enemies with Hydra skill)
  • Barbarian and even more so the Druid deal significantly less damage than Sorceress and Necromancer,
  • Lack of dungeon variety, (meaning it's the same layout for every dungeon)
  • Lack of genuine open word exploration variety

I love that the only people I've seen who disliked it are strangers on the Internet. Every one of my friends/family that played it had fun.

shrug I'll buy a game I find fun. Worst thing I personally encountered was a random npc floating in the air for like 2 seconds. I didn't even have crazy wait times in the que. Played up until they closed it down on the PS5.

Have you ever played a Diablo before? Serious question because this one is typical of them with some nice improvements

I think calling for a delay is a bit extreme. Sure, there is a lot of work to do, but after playing both betas, the game felt really good.

I'll be excited to see what they come up with closer to the release date

It is ready. It's them being cheap assholes and not spinning enough servers up.

Imo regardless of anything else nothing here is delay worthy. -animation cancelling. Depending on the engine might be an easy or near impossible fix. Consider it gameplay tech, this is a pve first game. -soreceress teleport is op: typical diablo checkmark -barb & druid- ok boost their numbers/multipliers, class balance is always happening -dungeon layouts: what you want, more puzzles? They can add new content, this isn't a broken feature -open world: I dunno, it's a diablo game

The only class that needs tweaking is druid and It might not even be that much since the class mechanic requires world exploration.

Your first and second point can literally be fixed so quickly and finding those flaws were the point of the beta. You don’t need to delay a game just because one class movement skills moves you the wrong amount of distance.

And your last point is literally just wrong. The beta deliberately limited your exploration to just act one. You’ll get to explore the other 90% of the world on release when you aren’t playing a beta.

And with dungeons again you only played what they wanted to show you. We are going to get different dungeons in the later acts. Realistically any game that has dungeons only has 5-10 unique dungeons and if you believe the “over 100 unique dungeons” brag every company says then idk what tell you other than compare the dungeons to any ARPG and count how many unique dungeons there are

You really think the beta was the most current build of the game?
