There will be cosmetic mtx and a battle pass. They have stated explicitly that there will be absolutely no purchasable game changing items, including an XP boost. The XP boost that comes with the paid season pass is also available for the free version. Paid version has cosmetics you can unlock.

Itll be fine, when it comes out im mostly just gonna see if that is the extent of the transactions in it and I should be fine. Had a lot of fun with the open beta

It certainly should be, unless Blizzard is for some reason deciding to blatantly lie about it, which would be terrible for them.

They already freaking have a money making MTX filled mobile Diablo game. They already have "Diablo 3 again". It's the same game.

People really think they're gonna fuck over their own game by blatantly lying about MTX? Doubt it.
