As a huge fan of the original, yes, it is ABSOLUTELY worth it. They did such an amazing job at modernizing the game. Between this and the Dead Space remake, it's a good time to be a fan of 2000's action-horror titles lmfao.

RE4 is my favourite one since I was a kid, I just completed the RE4 remake tonight and wow, that game is awesome! Iā€™m 100% going to NG+ on it. They did a great job on it, definitely deserves all the praise it gets!

The outline is basically the same. However there are a lot of differences within that outline from story, gameplay, and level design. Even the familiar areas/segments almost always have a twist to it that keeps you on your toes.
