I thought the marketplace went offline sometime last year?

Great console though, wish Gameboy were still a viable product line.

No, you weren't able to link a credit card to your account, but you could buy with e-shop cards. It finally was laid to rest Monday morning.

It seems odd to say since it's already over....

I'm going for it.

"No you couldn't use e-shop cards. Ya had to link to your Switch account."

Phew.

History restored.

I found my Gameboy Advanced SP (silver with the tribal tattoos) in the attic whilst clearing it out, hadn’t seen the light of day for like 12 years… Battery still had charge.

Just purchase a retro hand held. I just ordered this guy. Emulates just about everything up to the ps1 era for $55. https://anbernic.com/products/rg35xx

Oh yeah, I actually own an Anbernic RG351MP already and I love it.

Just crazy to me that Gameboy is pretty much extinct at this point. To me the switch isn't a good portable Nintendo solution. I love the console but it's as portable as a surfboard in my pocket.

mmmm that nostalgia from watching the shop bag guy occasionally appear while watching a game download.

I wasn't able to get one until a few years after the switch launched. Great little gaming machine, one of my personal favorites.

Nicely done OP!

At least I can see the little orange guy whenever I go re-download all the fucking games I bought LOL (it's not that many thankfully, but some of them are huge).

Does this mean we get free 3ds emulators??

Knowing nintendo, they'll try their absolute hardest to take them down.

That being said, for those of us with a physical 3ds, sailing the 7 seas is no longer as morally reprehensible now that games are gonna be significantly harder to get.

And it's so easy to do, with native GBA and DS support. It's fantastic.

Yawn. Glad people will finally stop talking about it.
