Absolutely love Dishonored 2. The best thing about these games is that they're even better the second time through, since you'll have familiarity with the level layouts and can plan ahead better to pull off some really cool stuff.

Yes, I've already noticed how many different ways I could have completed the clockwork mansion for example!

It's really quite impressive.

Clockwork mansion is insane for how many paths are available. I honestly think it's the best level in the game.

I recently replayed it. It's an amazing game, and it still holds up incredibly well.

Add Prey to your to-do list if you haven't played it already.

I've not played that, heard good things though.

I'll look out for it at the next sale.

Man, I love the dishonored series so much. Arkane studios does not miss. Definitely check out Prey as well

Deathloop look and felt like a massive downgrade from Dishonored and Prey, dead brain AI, uninteresting story, characters and world design.

Red fall looks much the same as deathloop and an even bigger departure from Arkanes previous work. Depressing to see such a good developer chasing sales instead of sticking to what they are excellent doing, immersive sims.

I donno if you've played Dishonored recently but its not like the AI was particularly great in those either. Deathloop I found it fine because by the end fighting great AI as you're trying to complete things would be very tiring.

I found it to be the opposite. The leads were incredible and the VA work was great. The way the story wove through the world design and environment - especially in changes over the course of the day - was also fantastic.

The 70s vibe isn't really hit on in games that much either so I loved the interiors and UI design.

Or maybe they get bored and wanted to make something different. Such a weird attitude gamers have where if a dev doesn't specifically make something that they want, it must come down to something else.

Doubly funny because the game doesn't have MTX, so not sure how they're chasing dollars exactly.
